James Denning

James E. Denning 88 of Glasgow died Monday, December 21, 2015 at the NHC Healthcare facility in Glasgow. He was born in Portland, TN the son of the late James William and Sarah Lear Denning. He was also preceded in death by his wife Charlotte Mayfield Denning who died in 2012. James was a former employee of Gray Construction Company and was a U. S. Army Veteran of WWII. He was a Mason, a member of Allen Lodge #24 F&AM and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. He is survived by his two daughters Peggy Higgason (Darrell) of Greensburg, KY and Libby Garner (Jim) of Mt. Vernon, OH and a grandson Roy Higgason of Greensburg. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, December 24th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 until 7:00. Masonic Rites will be at 7:00 Wednesday and the public is welcome to attend. Alternate expressions of sympathy may be made to The Gideon's.
