James Dickson

James Roy Dickson 80 of Smiths Grove, KY died Saturday December 15, 2007 at his home. He was born in Orange County, IL the son of the late Henry and Flora Magealene Shirley Dickson. Mr. Dickson was a farmer and an agent for Independent Life Insurance Company. He was a member of the Prices Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Eleanore Dunn Dickson; a son Doug Dickson (Connie) of Woodburn, KY; a step-son Jimmy England (Jennifer) of Lebanon, TN; 3 grandchildren Clayton Douglas Dickson of Lexington, Emily Dickson Vincent (Bryan) of Smiths Grove and Katie Dickson Decker (Jonathan) of Bowling Green; 4 step-grandchildren Abby England of Kansas, Amber England of Shelbyville, TN, Brittany England of Lebanon, TN and Nicholas England of Lebanon, TN and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters Dortha Estes, Florence Bragg and Grace Smith and 2 brothers Elmer and Paul Dickson. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday December 18, 2007 at the Prices Creek Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the Bragg Cemetery in Adair County. Visitation will be after 2:00pm Monday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
