James Green

James Edward Green 85 of Glasgow died Friday June 17, 2005 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. Born in Barren County the son of the late John Edward Green and Lettie Lawrence Green. Mr. Green was a U.S. Army Veteran, a farmer and a member of the Methodist Faith. Survivors include his wife Lois Gunell Houchens Green of Glasgow; 3 sons Leon Green of Glasgow, Carlos Green and wife Ina of Glasgow and Larry Green and wife Kaye of Park City; 6 grandchildren Cherri Irwin and husband Mike of Glasgow, Carlesia Taylor and husband Jackie of Glasgow, Todd Green and wife Lori of Park City, Shane Green and wife Stacey of Glasgow, Sonja Coulter and husband Wes of Glasgow and Leslie Green of Bowling Green; 11 great grandchildren Brooke Eaton and husband Stephen of Glasgow, Brittany Burris of Glasgow, Brandy Green of Park City, Cody Irwin of Glasgow, Mitchell Green of Glasgow, Jerred Taylor of Glasgow, Macain Coulter of Glasgow, Mika Irwin of Glasgow, Chase Green of Park City, Harley Green of Glasgow and Merrik Coulter of Glasgow; 1 great great grandchild Ashton Burris of Glasgow; 1 brother Rodney Green and wife Norma Jean of Beaver Dam, Ky; 1 sister Lois Frankum of Glasgow. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 2 brothers Odis and Kenneth Green and 2 sisters Zelma Jackson and Christine Butler. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday June19, 2005 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Old Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
