James L. Grinstead, 86 of Glasgow, went to be with Jesus, October 23, 2015 at the NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. He was born in Barren County the son of the late James David Grinstead and Grace Vance Grinstead. He retired from the U.S. Armor School Printing Plant at Ft. Knox after 30 years of service. He worked in Glasgow as a printer at the Evening Journal and the Glasgow Daily Times and was a member of Siloam Baptist Church. Mr. Grinstead served with the 623rd Field Artillery Battalion and was a Korean War Veteran. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Eula Lancaster Grinstead of Glasgow; 2 daughters Brenda Roberts (Joey) of Warren County and Deborah Dale (Michael) of Bowling Green; 1 sister Vera G. Guthrie of Bowling Green; 1 brother Malcolm B. Grinstead (Jane) of Cynthiana; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his oldest brother Sewell Grinstead. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Monday October 26, 2015 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Military honors provided by DAV Chapter #20 of Glasgow. Visitation will be on Sunday October 25, 2015 from 2:00pm till 8:00pm at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Siloam Baptist Church C/O Siloam Baptist Church 517 Siloam Rd.
