James Gordon Henderson 71 of Glasgow died Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at his residence. Born in Muhlenberg Co., KY he was the son of the late James Lawrence Henderson and Lillian Ruth McCown Henderson. Mr. Henderson was a Veteran of the Korean War serving in United States Navy, a life-member of the American Legion #180 of Louisville, KY, VFW Post 5906 of Glasgow, DAV Chapter #20 of Glasgow, AMVETS and The National Home for Children. Survivors include his wife JoAnn Logsdon Henderson; 4 daughters Karen Henderson (Allen) of Louisville, KY, Sherry Bahr (Eric) of Wisconsin, Sherry Bennett (Terry) of Glasgow and Marsha DeTalente (Travis) of Cave City, KY; a son James Lawrence Henderson (Cindy) of Louisville; his mother-in-law Mamie Bartley of Glasgow; 9 grandchildren James Gordon Keith, Tiffany Nicole Keith, Robert Neubert, Keith Neubert, Jamie Smith, Brandy Vibbert, Joshua Powell, Jesse Powell and Whitney DeTalente; 10 great grandchildren; 3 brothers Robert Henderson and Samuel Henderson both of New Albany, IN and Lawrence Henderson of Corydon, IN. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Gary Henderson. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday, September 21, 2007 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal cemetery with Military Honors provided by DAV Chapter #20 of Glasgow. Visitation will be after 2:00pm Thursday at the funeral home.
