James Hilton Witty, 54, of Glasgow, died Friday, October 11, 2019 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville. He was born in Bowling Green on October 5, 1965, the son of the late James Elmus "Buster" Witty and Ella Marie Pitcock Witty. Mr. Witty worked as a field project coordinator at M&L Electric for 18 years. He received his Associate Degree in electronics, from Rets Institute of technology in Louisville and was of the Church of Christ faith. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Karen Sue Smith Witty of Glasgow; four sons, Logan, Hunter, Andrew and Alex Witty all of Glasgow; one brother, David Witty (Leigh) of Park City; a close relative that James considered his brother, Randy Witty (Conya) of Glasgow; one sister, Karen Sue Witty Head (Mark) of Louisville, two sisters in law, Cherry Kay Smith of Lexington and Leisa Hutchison (David) of Bowling Green, three nephews, Parker Head of CA, Ben Hutchison of Bowling Green and Brandon Witty of Park City; five aunts, Aunt Ginny, Betty, Faye, Maye and Thelma; a host of cousins, friends and co-workers and his Golden Doodles, Ella, Emma, Baylee, Wu and Sox also survive. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Tuesday, October 15th at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from4:00pm until 8:00pm and on Tuesday morning until time for the services at the funeral home.
