James D. 'Buster' Hogue 78 of Austin, KY died Tuesday August 30, 2005 at his home. He was born in Allen County, the son of the late W. K and Ava Wiloughby Hogue. Mr. Hogue was a farmer and former Barren County School Bus Driver and he was a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Frances Lane Hogue; a daughter Janice Hogue Peden and husband Robert of Austin; a son James David Hogue of Austin; a grandson Robert Anthony 'Tony' Peden and fiancee' LeAnna McCoy of Fairdale, CA; 3 sisters Clara Jean Clark of Austin, Mable Britt and husband Trulon, Jr. of Austin, and Leatrice Royer and husband John of Greenfield, IN; 2 brothers Amon Hogue and wife Jimmie of Seymour, IN and John Douglas Hogue of Morristown, IN; 3 brothers in law Jim Lane Jr. and wife Lee Etta of Glasgow, Jerry Lane and wife Brenda of Oakwood, IL and Roy Harrison of Austin and 2 sisters in law Nora Alice Kennedy and husband Hugh of Albany, KY and Ruth Osborne and husband Bob of Danville, IL. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers W. C. and Lewie Hogue and a sister Mary Dean Harrison. Funeral servcies will be 2:00pm Thursday Sept. 1, 2005 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00pm Wednesday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
