James Houchens

James Clifton Houchens 62 of Glasgow died Friday June 27, 2008 at his residence in Barren County. Born in Barren county the son of the late Harry Hunter Houchens and Lillian Rose McCluskey. Mr. Houchens was a lifelong farmer. Survivors include a daughter Sandy Bratcher (Clint) of Glasgow; 1 son Daniel Houchens of Glasgow; 2 grandchildren Jessica Nicole Carey and Lucus Mitchell Carey both of Cave City; 1 great grandchild Katelyn Nicole Sturgeon; 2 brothers Harry Eugene Houchens and Stanley Harold Houchens both of Glasgow; 2 sisters Edith Elizabeth White and Wanda Deckard (Steve) all of Glasgow and his companion Brenda Borders of Smith Grove. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Haskell Earl Houchens. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday June 30, 2008 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 1:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
