James Nifong

James 'Ernie' Nifong 54 of Tompkinsville and formerly of Glasgow died Wednesday September 23, 2009 at his home in Tompkinsville. Born in Barren County the son of the late Jack Earnest Nifong and the late Joann Clark Nifong. Mr. Nifong was a farmer and attended the Green Meadow Baptist Church as a child. Survivors include his wife Tammy Eva Jean Nifong of Tompkinsville; 1 daughter Cammy Lynn Nifong of Tompkinsville; 1 stepson Kevin York (Joyce) of Glasgow; 1 stepdaughter Serena King (Eddie) of Glasgow; 2 brothers Ricky Nifong (Ruby) of IN; Jackie Nifong ( Charolette) of TN; 1 sister Penny Chapman (Buck) of Glasgow; 6 step grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 2 sisters Cathy Terry and Janice Ann Nifong. Graveside Services will be 2:30pm Sunday September 27, 2009 at the Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 12:00pm until 2:00pm at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
