James Oliver, Sr.

James Edward Oliver Sr., 81 of Glasgow died Sunday February 24, 2008 at his home. He was born in Monroe County the son of the late Otis and Rosie Richey Oliver. Mr. Oliver was a farmer and was an employee of the Handmacher Co. for 35 years. He was a member of the Dover Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Doris Ann Graven Oliver; one son James Edward Oliver Jr. and wife Mary Ann of Glasgow; a step grandson Anthony Cherry and 2 step great-grandchildren Katie and Tanner Cherry. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday February 27, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00pm Tuesday.
