James Peden

James Mitchell Peden 73 of Park City, KY died Tuesday. March 28, 2006 at his residence. Born in Barren County he was the son of the late Herbert Thomas Peden and Genie Becky Houchens Peden. Mr. Peden was a retired heavy equipment operator in road construction and of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include 3 sons- Robert Peden and wife Janice of Austin, KY, James Richard Peden and Eric Peden both of New Albany, IN, 3 daughters Mary Oakes and husband Ronnie of Bowling Green, KY, Sandy Houchens and husband Mike of Austin, KY, Lori Turner and husband Woody of Cave City, KY, 2 brothers Ralph Peden of Phoenix, AZ, Billy Joe Peden and wife Phoebe of Townsend, TN, 2 sisters Mary Turner and husband James of Cave City, KY, Lottie Buffington of Glasgow, 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren also survive, In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 1 son Steven Peden, 1 sister Stella Peden and 1 brother-in-law Walter Buffington. Funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday, April 1, 2006 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Peden Family Cemetery with Military Honors provided by DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow. Visitation will be after 10 AM Friday, March 31, 2006 at the funeral home.
