James Pulliam

James W. Pulliam 82 of Edmonton, KY died Saturday January 17, 2009 at the NHC Healthcare Facility in Glasgow. He was born in Barren County the son of the late Owen and Vera Pitcock Pulliam. Mr. Pulliam was a farmer and antique dealer, was a veteran of WWII and attended the Dripping Springs Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Alma Poynter Pulliam; 1 son David Pulliam and wife Bonnie of Glasgow; 1 daughter Martha Hunley and husband Jr. of Glasgow; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son William Owen Pulliam. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday January 20, 2009 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Smith Family Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
