James Reid

James Thomas "Tommy" Reid 81 of Glasgow died Friday, May 26, 2017 at his residence. Born in Edmonton, KY he was the son of the late Tom Keel and Ella Mae Cooksey Reid. Mr. Reid was of the Baptist faith, a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and avid gun enthusiast. He was retired from R. R. Donnelly's and later was an over the road truck driver. Survivors include his wife Sandy Reid of Glasgow; 3 daughters Jennifer Coulter (Steve) of Clarksville, TN, Rhonda Hoggard (Russell) of Edmonton and Melinda Hunt (Mark) of Glasgow; 2 sons Russell Reid (Gina) and Joe Reid both of Glasgow; a daughter-in-law Beth Reid of Glasgow:10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and his special K-9 companions Soup and Dexter. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Billie Gay McMurtrey Reid, a son Alan Reid and 2 infant sons James Thomas Reid, II and Tom Keel Reid. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
