James Renfrow

James Owen Renfrow, 80, of Horse Branch, passed away Thursday, December 3rd, 2015 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. He was born on Friday, March 29th, 1935 in Grayson County, the son of the late William Owen and Myrtle (Arnold) Renfrow. James retired from the Army and was a civil service employee. He also enjoyed farming and taking care of his farm in Horse Branch. He is survived by his son, Tim Renfrow of Christian County, KY; his grandson, Taylor Owen Renfrow of California and his loving companion of over 14 years, Emma Hardin. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 8th, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Burial will be in the Leach Cemetery in Ohio County.Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Monday from 3:00 to 8:00 pm and Tuesday from 9:00 am until time of service.
