James Harold Siddens 82 of Glasgow died Thursday November 10, 2011 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Barren County a son of Dwight and Mattie Elizabeth Lewis Siddens. Mr. Siddens was a Korean War veteran serving in the U. S. Air Force, a farmer, and was a tobacco grader with the USDA for over 20 years. He was a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church, the Austin Masonic Lodge and the Order of the Eastern Star #247 in Glasgow. Survivors include his wife Zadie Groce Siddens; 1 son Alan Siddens and wife Sharon; 3 daughters Joyce Siddens and special friend Wolfe, Mary Beth Siddens and Susan Hagan and husband Dean all of Glasgow; a step daughter Becky Pedigo of Glasgow; 6 grandchildren; 2 sisters Jean Young and husband Wayne of Glasgow and Francis Dixon of Franklin, TN and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother John Lewis Siddens. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Sunday November 13, 2011 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Cedar Grove Cemetery with military honors provided by DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow. Visitation will begin at 4pm Saturday. Masonic Rites will be held 7:00pm Saturday at the funeral home and the public is welcome to attend.
