James Staten

James Staten 60 of Glasgow died Tuesday at his home. Born in Glasgow he was the son of the late Cecil Staten and Lucille Huffman Staten of Glasgow who survives. James was a retired employee of Bowling Green Bank and Trust Co. and was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church. He is survived by his mother Lucille Staten of Glasgow; 1 son James Staten, Jr. of Bowling Green; 2 daughters Nakeshia Staten of Bowling Green and Quiana Johnson of Glasgow; 5 brothers Wayne Staten of Glasgow, Ervin (Mona) Staten of Bowling Green, Stevie Staten of Glasgow, Rondall Staten of Glasgow and Tommy Burris of Glasgow; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Saturday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Tyler Family Cemetery in Metcalfe County. Visitation will be on Friday from 5pm until 8pm.
