James Taylor Tarry 64 of Glasgow died Saturday, July 11, 2015 at his residence. Born in Barren Co. he was the son of the late Charlie & Pauline 'Polly' Carter Tarry. Mr. Tarry was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U. S. Army. He was also a member of the Cumberland Masonic Lodge #413 and the Assistant Pastor at Whites Chapel Church. Survivors include his wife of 37years Geraldine Tarry of Glasgow; a daughter Delisha Smith & husband Russell of Glasgow; a son Chris Garrison & wife Kara of Louisville; two step-daughters Penny Goldsmith and Kay Walker both of Glasgow; five grandchildren Nathaniel Smith, Jonathan Smith, Shelaleigh Smith, Brittney McGuire & husband Cameron and Shelby Goldsmith; a great granddaughter Karlee McGuire; a special sister Bonnie Vance & husband Jerry of Munfordville and Margaret Woodcock & husband Owen of Tracy, KY; 3 special nephews Cody, Coby and Casy Vance and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with cremation to follow the services. Visitation will be after 3:00pm Monday at the funeral home. There will be a Masonic service held on Monday at 7:00pm at the funeral home and the public is welcome to attend.
