James Whitehead

James David Whitehead 50 of Glasgow died Monday, January 2, 2006 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Detroit Michigan he was the son of the late Johnny Mack and Sally Margaret Boyd Whitehead. Mr. Whitehead was a machinist for Davenport Machine Shop in Michigan and a member of the Caveland Baptist Church in Cave City, KY. Survivors include his wife Ruby Coomer Whitehead, 1 son David Whitehead of Glasgow, 1 step-son Kevin Kelly of Glasgow, 2 Daughters Melinda Whitehead and Marquita Emtivier both of New Hampshire, 2 brothers George 'Buddy' Whitehead of Tennessee, Ronnie Whitehead of Cincinnati, OH, 2 sisters Connie Pedigo of Cave City and Mary Harris of Gamaliel, 7 grandchildren Destiny Craine, Ciera Whitehead, Breanna Smootherman, Gavin Whitehead, Davy Mack Whitehead, Tyler Anderson, Travis Metivier. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 1 sister Linda Jackson. Mr. Whitehead was cremated. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on January 11, 2006 at the Caveland Baptist Church 204 Broadway St. Cave City, Kentucky. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
