Janice Bowman

Janice Marguriette Bowman 88 of Glasgow died Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at her home after an extended illness. She was born in Marrowbone, KY the daughter of the late James and Addie Whitlow McWherter, longtime residents of Summer Shade, KY. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dr. C.G. 'Garland' Bowman and a son Dr. Larry Bowman. Mrs. Bowman was a homemaker and as her husband, a longtime member of the Glasgow Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter Sondra B. Dickinson (Benny) of Glasgow; a son Dr. R.K. 'Kenny' Bowman (Alexis) of Glasgow; a daughter-in-law Susan H. Bowman of Festus, MO; 7 grandchildren Jay Bowman, Emily B. Cook, Amy B. Durbin, Alex Bowman, Dawn D. Reynolds, Sam D. Dickinson and Anna Margaret D. Riddle; 11 great grandchildren; a sister Inell McWherter Watson (Robert) of Bowling Green; an aunt Kathleen Davidson; her nieces, nephews and cousins and her caregivers Glenda 'Peg' Doyle and Phyllis Habhab. Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4pm until 8pm and Saturday morning until time for the service.
