Janie Mansfield

Janie Lucille Mansfield 94 of Nashville, TN and formerly of Glasgow died Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in Nashville. She was born at Summer Shade, KY the daughter of Ernest and Brockie Carter Geralds. Her husband was the late James B. Mansfield. Mrs. Mansfield was a former employee of Handmacher in Glasgow and a member of the South Green St. Church of Christ. While living in Nashville with her son, she attended West End Church of Christ in Nashville. She is survived by her son John Mansfield and wife Betty of Nashville; grandson Brian Mansfield and wife Nancy, granddaughter Sonya Mansfield Ross and husband Russell all of Nashville, four great-grandchildren Nicholas, Zach, Gracelyn and Annalise Mansfield and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by her younger siblings, Edward Geralds, Lorine Williams, Manez Lindsey, Odel Geralds and Eva Jean Gibson. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, March 12th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5pm until 8pm.
