Jay Richter

Jay Alan 'Al' Richter, 74, of Glasgow, KY died Saturday January 17, 2004 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Mr. Richter was born in Chicago, IL the son of the late Bruno and Margaret Wantz Richter. He was a retired salesman, a veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the First Christian Church in Glasgow. He is survived by his wife Madeline Berta Richter, 3 daughters, Margie Dickerson and husband Carl of Glasgow, Carolyn Staley and husband Eric of Grand Rapids, MI and Jennifer Barnes and husband Parry of Aurora, IL; 1 son David Richter and wife Ann of Waterloo, Iowa; grandchildren Brad and Sara Dickerson, John, Andy, Tom and Sam Richter, Kate, Michael and Jamie Staley and David, Danny and Drew Barnes. He was preceded in death by a grandson Adam Dickerson. Funeral services will be 5:00 pm Monday January 19, 2004 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with cremation to follow the services. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 12 noon until time for services.
