Jeanette Johnson

Jeanette Rose Johnson 50 of Knob Lick, KY died Friday November 11, 2011 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green after a 7 month battle with lung cancer. The Barren County native was the daughter of the late Preston and Anna Pearl Witcher Groce. She was a former employee of Sumitomo Wiring, and Phillips Market at Hiseville and currently was a self-employed housekeeper. Jeanette was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church but was currently attending Savoyard Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 29 years Kenny; 2 daughters Suzanna (Buzz) Bragg of Glasgow and Nickie (Steve) Garmon of Hiseville; 2 grandchildren Alexis Bragg and Cienna Garmon; 2 brothers Wayne (Wilma) Groce of Park city and Thomas (Melissa) Groce of Glasgow and 1 sister Anna Groce of Cave City. A brother John Groce preceded her in death. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday November 15, 2011 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the newly established Johnson Family Cemetery at Knob Lick. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM Monday.
