Jeffrey L. Medley, 53, of Glasgow, went to his heavenly home on Saturday, June 6, 2015. He was born in Barren County on June 7, 1961 to Barbara Groce Medley and the late Richard P. Medley. He worked for Gray Construction for several years then more recently with Bobby Simpson. He was a dedicated member and one of the original founders and builders of Gethsemane Baptist Church. Jeffery was a hardworking, honest, quiet man whose hobby was building and pulling tractors. He built several over the years and his most recent one was named 'Covered in Red' with John 3:16, which symbolized his salvation and love for his Lord and was a witness for God each time it was seen. He was blessed with the many friends he acquired over many states because of this hobby. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Ewell and Helen Groce and Paul and Bessie Medley. He is survived and will be missed by his mother, Barbara Groce Medley, his loving wife of 26 years Pamela Green Medley; 3 sons Wesley (Amanda) Medley, Adam (Melissa Huffman) Medley, and Jordan (Hannah) Medley; grandchildren Garrett, Gracey, Grayson and Jaxon Medley and soon to arrive Harper Medley; 2 sisters Tamara (Tony) Francis, and Marla (Bro. Paul) Davidson all of Glasgow. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a multitude of friends including close friend Jamie Barger of Guston, KY. Funeral services will be 2pm Tuesday, June 9th at Gethsemane Baptist Church with burial in the Groce Cemetery. Visitation will begin 3pm Monday at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home and Tuesday at Gethsemane Baptist Church from 9am until time for the service.
