Jennie Goodwin

Jennie D. Goodwin, 102 of Bowling Green, KY, died Saturday April 9, 2016 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green. She was born in Barren County September 19, 1913 the daughter of the late Lovel Young and Nettie Bowles Young. She worked as a cook at the Red Cross Elementary school for over 20 years and was a member of the Old Zion Methodist Church. Survivors include a son Frank Goodwin of Bowling Green, KY; daughter in law Jean Goodwin of Mt. Washington, KY; 6 grandchildren Michael Goodwin of Bowling Green, KY, Johnny Goodwin (Phyllis) of Bowling Green, KY, Tammy Keesling of Cleveland , OH, Jeff Goodwin of Mt. Washington, KY, Mark Goodwin (Catherine) of Sabastian, FL and Julie Heflin (Eugene) of Mt. Washington, KY; 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; in addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Howard Goodwin, son Mitchell Wallace Goodwin, 7 brothers,1 sister and a daughter in law Betty Martin Goodwin. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday April 13, 2016 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Old Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
