Jennie Woods

Jennie Mae Woods, 96 of Glasgow passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at T.J Samson Community Hospital where the physicians and nurses extended her the kindest of care. She was born in 1916 in Barren County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Bulford and Virgie Rigney Mizell. She was a former resident of Louisville, Kentucky and retired from Enro Shirt Company. She was a member of Community Church of God. Jennie was beloved by her family and friends that will always cherish her hugs and memories filled with laughter. Her greatest legacy was her family whom she loved with all her heart. She is survived by 2 daughters, Mary Strange and husband Elvin of Shepherdsville, Evelyn Oliver and husband Bernice of Glasgow; 1 son Clifton Woods and wife Barbara of Louisville; 4 grandchildren Paulette Kennedy of Shepherdsville, Kathy Hough and husband Bill of Indiana, Todd Oliver and wife Sharon of Glasgow, and Nina Beck and husband Joe of Louisville; 9 great grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren, and 2 great-great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her adoring husband Willie Woods; 5 brothers William, Glen, Charlie, Mitchell, John Ish Mizell, and 2 sisters Leonna and Lola Mizell. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Popular Log Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home.
