Jerry Ballard

Jerry Ballard, age 75, of Glasgow, passed away, Sunday, December 17, 2023, at TJ Samson Community Hospital. He was born on December 30, 1947 to the late Lesco Ballard and late Kathleen (England) Ballard. Jerry loved to play the guitar and sing karaoke especially Merle Haggard. Jerry was an avid member of the Whites Chapel Community Church.
He is survived by his children, Deanna Carroll (Donavon), Melissa Dunn (Dwight), Chris Ballard (Beverly), Loretta (Lori) Pedigo (Derek), and Wade Ballard (Laurie); sister, Annie Jessie; grandchildren, Christina Weigel (Jaron), Meghan Vanmeter (Justin), Renee Wright (Aaron), Anthony Ballard (Shelby), Jeremy Ballard (Ashley), Bailey Pedigo (Kadin), Briar Pedigo, Cody Ballard, Josh Craft, Sydney Burton (Jessica), Austin Ballard, Macy Dunn; 15 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis (Thomerson) Ballard; daughter, Kelly Renee Ballard; and sisters, Becky Jones and Ollie Grissom.
The funeral service for Mr. Ballard will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, December 22nd, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial at the Caney Fork Cemetery in Etoile, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home and Friday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
