Jerry Crabtree

Jerry Lee Crabtree, age 70 of Glasgow, died Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at his home. He was born in Glasgow the son of the late Harm Crabtree and Ruby Carver. He was also preceded in death by his step-father William Church. Jerry was retired from Eaton Axle/Dana Corp. after 30 years and had also been an employee of Mallory for 8 years. He was a member of Bethel Independent Baptist Church. Jerry had many interests including a love for fishing. He is survived by his wife Betty Bell Crabtree; 1 son Todd Crabtree and wife Vicky of Glasgow; 3 grandchildren Amanda Crabtree (Kiefer McGuire), Torie Clarkson and Trent Clarkson all of Glasgow; a great-granddaughter Kesleigh McGuire of Glasgow; a brother Leon Crabtree of Horse Cave; sister-in-law Nellie Bell Martin and husband Orby of Glasgow and nephews Johnny Bell and wife Carla and Benson Bell both of Glasgow. He was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law Ronnie Bell. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, November 19th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 11:00am Wednesday.
