Jerry Elmore

Jerry David Elmore 70 of Glasgow passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Barren Co. he was the son of the late William Evans & Mary Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Mesker Elmore. Survivors include 4 children Mark Elmore & wife Sue, Melinda Shirley & husband Chris, Missy Overfelt & husband Shane and Jeremiah Elmore & wife Joleen all of Glasgow; 9 grandchildren Samantha Willian & husband Andrew, Jessica Shirley, Kasey Prater, Brock Elmore, Taylor Elmore, John Austin Elmore, Tyler Elmore, Hannah Elmore and Jacob Elmore; one great-grandson, Brayden Holman; a special niece, Teresa Robertson and husband Ronnie; a sister Jean Abston & husband Olin of Glasgow and a brother Terry Elmore of Macon, GA. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Irene Simpson and 3 brothers Roy, Charles & Jess Elmore. Mr. Elmore chose cremation and no services are scheduled at this time.
