Jerry Hall Hampton, 82, of Bowling Green, KY died Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. He was born in Murray, KY the son of the late Rev. Raymond Hall Hampton and Emma Norene Campbell Hampton. Jerry was a retired engineer for Continental Telephone Co. He was a Baptist and very strong in his faith and had a great love for his family and friends. As a member of the 13th Street Club in Bowling Green for many years, he was a friend and a mentor to many. Jerry loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He is survived by four children; Randy Hampton, Ron Hampton and wife Lori An, Roger Hampton and Amy Stephens and husband Scott all of Glasgow; 7 grandchildren J. W Hampton, Kaitie Hampton, Will Hampton, Kaleb Hampton, Ali Grace Hampton, Jaeden Stephens and Cole Stephens and 1 great-grandchild Owen Hampton. Three sisters also survive, Charlene Neal, Chris Lewis and Kaye Wingo and husband Jimmy all of Tennessee. A sister Margie Ione Curry preceded him in death. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, August 12th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 4pm until 8pm and Sunday morning until time for the service.
