Jerry Walker

Jerry T. Walker, Sr., age 69 of Clarkson passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at his residence. He was born November 21, 1944 in Louisville, KY, the son of Ruben Walker, Sr. and Stella Lecroix Walker. He was the former owner and president of Walker Bros. Construction Company. He is survived by his loving wife, Emily Elliott Walker, four children, Barbara Tucker (Rick), Jerry 'Tank' Walker, Jr., Jeffery Walker (Katie), & Becky Sanders (Marty), five grandchildren, Terry Tucker (Shelby), Michael Tucker (Kitana), Chris Tucker (Amanda), Nicole Belcher (Troy), & Marley Walker, and three great grandchildren, Trinity King, Lily Tucker, & Mason King. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Donnie Curtis, daughter-in-law, Kitty Walker, granddaughter, Cortney Hobgood, two brothers, Rubern Walker, Jr. & William E. Walker, and one sister, Jean Knuckles. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday (December 6, 2013) at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield with Bro. Rick Tucker & Bro. Garnett Tucker, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Clarkson Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 4:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of donations to Watson & Hunt Funeral Directors to help with the funeral expenses.
