Jesse Britt

Jesse Reid Britt 83 of Glasgow died Monday February 16, 2004 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Barren County the son of the late John and Elizabeth Wheeler Britt. Mr. Britt was a Certified Electronic Technician and former owner and operator of Britt's T.V. Service. More recently he taught electronics at the Barren County Area Vocational Center. He was a veteran of WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart. Mr. Britt was a member of the Haywood Missionary Baptist Church which is now the Southside Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Dorotha Moran Britt; 1 daughter Janice Richey and her fianc
