Jessie Frank Chambers 82 of Glasgow died Thursday January 12, 2012 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Barren County a son of the late Jack and Jesse Adams Chambers. He was a farmer and carpenter and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Chambers was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved his Mammoth Cave tobacco. He attended the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Opal; 2 daughters Jessica Constant (Jim) of Glasgow and Patricia Woods (Ricky) of Bowling Green; 3 grandchildren Bryan Abston of Bowling Green, Andy Tarry of Glasgow and Chelsea Woods of Bowling Green; 2 brothers Richard Lee Chambers (Carolyn) and Ernest Chambers (Marilyn) of Glasgow; several nieces, nephews and cousins and his beloved dog Coco. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by Miss Tilda Ellis and her family who provided love and care for him in his younger years. Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Monday, January 16, 2012 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00pm Sunday.
