Jessie Gulley

Jessie Ray Gulley, 65, of Glasgow died Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Glasgow the son of the late Raymond Edward Gulley and Nellie Ree Huff Gulley. Mr. Gulley retired from Mid-State Recycling of Glasgow. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include his wife Harriet Likens Gulley of Glasgow; 2 sons Michael Ray Gulley (Melissa) and Corey Ray Gulley both of Glasgow; 2 daughters Jessica Jones Ortiz (Demario) of Fairbanks, Alaska and Lillian Weaver of Copper Center, Alaska; 12 grandchildren; 5 sisters, Barbara Slayton (Harlan), Mary Batey, Gail Brown (Steve), Martha Maupin and Virginia Glass all of Glasgow; 1 aunt Jesse Gulley of IN; several nieces and nephews including a special friend, Onita Wooten of Glasgow and a special brother-in-law David Slayton of Glasgow. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Nancy Wooten and Lizzie Bell Gulley; 4 brothers James, Allen, Raymond C. and Robert Gulley. Funeral services will be 12:00pm Friday September 16, 2016 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Military honors provided by the DAV Chapter #20 of Glasgow. Visitation will be after 2:00pm Thursday at the funeral home.
