Jessie "Jerry" Perkins

Jerry D. Perkins 84 of Glasgow, died Thursday, January 14, 2016 at his home. He was born in Metcalfe County the son of the late Otha and Elizabeth Carver Perkins. Jerry was a carpenter, electrician and a home builder. He was an active member of the Sr. Citizens Club at Lera B. Mitchell Clubhouse. He is survived by one son Steve Perkins of Hodgenville; two daughters Phyllis Martin of Glasgow and Carolyn Emmert (Scott) of Edmonton; 6 grandchildren Lacey Mayes, Dakota Vance, Jacquline Hunt, Brandi Emmert, Jessie Perkins and Cheyenne Perkins; 7 great grandchildren; 1 brother Roy Perkins and 2 sisters Loretta Reynolds and Maxine Glass all of Glasgow; and a special friend Addlene Judd. He was preceded in death by his wife Sue and a son Carl Perkins. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, January 18th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Lick Branch Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Sunday.
