Jessie Wells

Jessie Vaughan Wells 79 of Glasgow died Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Barren Co. she was the the daughter of the late Harvey Page Vaughan & Toopsie Boston Vaughan and wife of the late George Thomas Wells. Mrs. Wells was baptized at an early age to the Baptist Faith, she was a graduate of Park City High School and retired from GTE. Survivors include 2 sons Jacky Thomas Wells and Jeffrey Todd Wells (Beth) both of Glasgow; 3 grandchildren Justin Wells (Linsey), Tyler Wells and Mallie Wells all of Glasgow; 4 sisters Nova Jo Hensley and Billie Sue Goslin (red) both of Louisville, Ruby Trabue of Mason City, IL and Eugenia Vaughn (John) of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by 2 sisters Alice Jewell Vaughan and Mary Frances Vaughan and 6 brothers Morris, Harvey Page, James, Bob, Robert and Johnny Vaughan. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Friday, October 30, 2009 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00am Thursday at the funeral home.
