Jewell Atkinson

Jewell Hurt Atkinson 81 of Glasgow, KY died Monday May 5th at the NHC Health Care Facility in Glasgow. She was born in Metcalfe County the daughter of the late Will and Pearl Ferrell Hurt. Her husband was the late William Wendell Atkinson. Mrs. Atkinson had owned and operated Atkinson's Antiques and had also been employed by Hidden Attic Antiques and Handmacher Mfg. Co. in Glasgow. She is survived by her step daughter-in-law Marjorie Atkinson of Bowling Green; her step granddaughter Lisa Lancaster and husband Jeff of Bowling Green; a step great-granddaughter Bailee Lancaster and a sister-in-law Marie Ferrell of Hendersonville, TN. Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday May 10, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4:00pm on Friday.
