Jimmie Holder

Jimmie D. Holder 85 of Austin, KY died Sunday November 15, 2009 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Barren County the son of the late Elbridge and Maggie McGinnis Holder. Mr. Holder was a farmer and was a charter member of the Austin Tracy Lions Club. He was a member of the Mt. Olivet Missionary Baptist Church at Austin. He is survived by one son David Holder (Barbara) of Austin; two daughters Brenda Montgomery (Joe) of Austin and Cindy Minning (Steven) of Orlando, FL; 3 grandchildren Michelle Crabtree (Bryan) of Austin, Joe Montgomery III (Felecia) of Lucas and Vickie Alexander (Matt) of Glasgow; 7 great grandchildren, Blake and Britton, Jessie, Taylor Joe, Colton, Bailey and Brooklyn; 1 sister Bessie Shanks of Bowling Green; a sister-in-law Corine Holder of Austin and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Helen Elizabeth Chandler Holder, a son Kenneth Holder, 3 sisters Minnie Underwood, Amy Blair and Clara Borders and 4 brothers, Davis, Willie, Earl and Roy Holder. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Austin. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
