Jimmie Leo Stice 76 of Glasgow, died Friday, July 11, 2014 at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. He was born in Brownsville, KY the son of the late Everett and Mildred Doyle Stice. Jimmie was a former teacher at Edmonson County High School for 13 years, an employee of Riherd's Sport Shop in Glasgow for 15 years and more recently was an employee of both Lyons Company for 11 years and Knight Mechanical for 4 years. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Ruth Curry Elzy Stice whom he married August 13, 1966 at the Campbellsville Baptist Church. He is also survived by his daughter Beth Stice Kidwell (Jonathan) of Glasgow; a step-granddaughter EmmaLee Kidwell; a sister Naomi Fuller (Roger) of Coldwater, MI; a special aunt Mabel Stice Meredith of Clarksville, IN; his brother-in-law Robert Lee Elzy (Beverly) of Campbellsville, KY; 4 nieces, 1 nephew and several great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Billie Stice, a sister Martha Houchin (Allen) and his father and mother-in-law C.E. and Inez Curry Elzy. A Memorial Journey service for Jimmie Leo Stice will be held Thursday, July 17th at 5:30pm at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. All friends and family are invited to attend. After the service, the family will then gather with friends and neighbors for a time of remembrance and dessert fellowship at Calvary Baptist Church from 7pm until 9pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made In Memory of Jimmie L.
