Jimmy Clement

Jimmy L. Clement 81 of Glasgow died Monday, January 19, 2015 at his home. Born in Clay County, Arkansas he was the son of the late Earl P. and Vera Pond Clement. Mr. Clement graduated from Arkansas State University and was a former school teacher in Arkansas. He was a former manager of Sears in Glasgow, a veteran serving in the U. S. Army and attended the Beech Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Wanda; a son Jim Bob Clement of Glasgow; step children Rhonda Malaby (Jeff) of Suffolk, VA and Randy Rush of Glasgow; 2 grandchildren Tara Clement and Jon Michael (Kasey) Clement; 3 step-grandchildren, Ryan Malaby, Katie Pepple, Railey Rush; 3 great grandchildren Kenelly Kirk, Braxton Cova Clement and Jaelyn Clement; 5 sisters Augustine Mofield of Mississippi, Imogene Mabry of Louisville, Valgene Luter of Arkansas, Betty Blatz of Arkansas and Joyce Sheridan of Missouri. He was preceded in death by a brother Sterling Clement. Funeral services will be 1pm Thursday, January 22nd at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4pm until 7pm.
