Jo Harrison

Jo Dorse Harrison 75 of Glasgow died Thursday September 18, 2008 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late Sam and Hallie Meek Gass. Mrs. Harrison was a former employee of T. J. Samson Hospital and Tyson Bearing. She is survived by 1 daughter Martha 'Kittle' Harrison of Glasgow; 4 sons Joel (Maria) Harrison, Neal (Lou Myers) Harrison, Lee Harrison and Casey (Amanda) Harrison all of Glasgow; 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; 2 sisters Rebecca (Joe) Rafferty of Jeffersonville, IN and Sue (Tony) Turner of Glasgow and 2 brothers Steve (Jessie) Gass and David Gass of Glasgow. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Edward 'Joe' Harrison, a daughter Deanna Higgs and a sister Juanita (Elliott) Humphrey. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Sunday Sept. 21st at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4:00pm on Saturday.
