Joan Jones

Joan Marie Jones 67 of Glasgow died Sunday December 7, 2008 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born in Cookeville, TN the daughter of the late Roy and Geneva Geer McGlasson. Joan was a former employee of the Boyle County and Franklin County Court Clerks offices and in 2005 she and her husband moved back to Glasgow after retirement. She was an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Glasgow. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jimmy Jones; one son Roy Jones and wife Lisa of Florence, KY; 2 grandchildren Rachel and Julia Jones; 2 sisters Betty Barrick and husband Glenn and Charlotte Shirley and husband Mike all of Glasgow and her mother-in-law Bertha Jones of Glasgow. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary and Larry McGlasson. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday December 10, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00pm on Tuesday.
