JoAnn Sibalich 84 of Glasgow died Thursday, January 14, 2016 at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. She was born on November 26, 1931 in Massillon, OH, to parents Walter Clay and Effie Edwards. She is survived by her husband of 62 Years, George Sibalich. They have five children, Kathy Proffitt (Roger), Laurie Berry (Jim), both of Glasgow, KY, Leslie Butler, New York, NY, Georgeann Doucette, (Rob), Blythewood, SC, and Greg Sibalich (Toni), of Bowling Green, KY. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Amy Fisher (Tim), Heather Hammer, (Bart), Lesley Allen (Chris), Megan Berry-Jones (Travis), Zoe Sibalich, Zack Sibalich, Samantha Spires and six great grandchildren, all of whom she dearly loved. She leaves behind a person dear to her heart, Lisa Thomas, and many other lifelong friends. JoAnn had a great love and passion for antiques. Her love of books and admired authors made her an avid book collector. She will always be remembered as an adventurous cook especially during the holidays as evident by sharing meals together with those she loved. She had a broad spectrum of knowledge and kept her mind sharp with new challenges every day. She loved meeting people from all walks of life and was a stranger to none. Her nature was evident in life by living and loving simply. A Funeral Mass will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, January 16th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. A prayer service will be at the funeral home 8:00pm Friday. Alternate expressions of sympathy may be made to The Mary Wood Weldon Memorial Library or St. Helen's Catholic Church Building Fund.
