Joe Alan Elliott

Joe Alan Elliott, 72, of Haywood passed away Friday, January 28, 2022, at his residence. He was born in Glasgow on July 11, 1949, to the late Rob Elliott & Faye Blakeman Elliott. Joe was a US Army Veteran, and member of Allen # 24 Masonic Lodge. He retired after 40 years as a pipeline construction supervisor with R.L. Coolsaet Construction Co. Joe was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include his wife, whom he married August 8, 1969, Janet Combest Elliott of Haywood; two grandsons, Dusty Walker, and Cody Walker; several nieces and nephews, and his furry friend Shadow also survive. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Walker; two brothers, James Elliott, and Billy Elliott. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Tuesday, February 1st at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. DAV Chapter #20 will provide Military Honors.
