Joe David Childress

Joe David Childress, age 51, of Glasgow KY, passed away Monday, February 19, 2024, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green Ky. He was born in Glasgow Kentucky on July 22, 1972, to the late Will Ronnie Childress and Joann Moore who still survives.

He is survived by one daughter, Cortney Childress of Glasgow Kentucky; three stepchildren, Kaysia Francies, Ashley Wheeler (Kevin) , April Decker (Dennis); his first wife, Misty Michelle Childress Francies; second wife, Pamela Kay Vaughn of Glasgow, Kentucky; four brothers, Charles Clifton Childress, Will Ronnie Dewayne Childress(Angie), Michael Joe Jewell, and Donald Lewis Brown (Brandy) all of Glasgow Kentucky; four grandchildren, Kynleigh Childress, Makynzie Detweiler, Brantley Childress of Glasgow Kentucky and Remey Lee Monroe and six grandchildren from his latest marriage; he also survived by several aunts and uncles and cousins and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one son, Kylen Childress of Glasgow Kentucky; two grandmothers, Lily Mae Rice and Charolette Clark Childress of Glasgow Kentucky; two grandfathers, Robert Rice and Will Henry Childress; one brother, Roger Paul Wilson of Glasgow Kentucky; he is also proceeded in death by several aunts and uncles and his stepfather Joe Moore.

The family has honored his wishes and chosen cremation.
