Joe Key

Joe Fred Key 91 of Glasgow died Monday, April 06, 2015 at the Glasgow State Nursing Facility. Born in Barren County he was the son of the late Jackson and Lillie Cross Key. Mr. Key was a farmer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Allean Kingrey Key; a son, Ray Key; a grandson Robert Joseph Key; a sister Bell Shockley and 8 brothers, Ralph, Jessie, Jake, Rollie, Ollis, Sid, Casswell, and George Key. He is survived by 2 daughters Olean Hawkins of Glasgow and Elizabeth Blakley of Jenson Beach, FL; 5 grandchildren Larry Gregor, Brian Gregor, David Henry, Alicia Shannon Byrd and Kala Elizabeth Byrd; 8 great grandchildren, Shelby Ray Byrd, Mason Strom Arms, Ashley & Taylor Gregor, Raven & River Henry, Justin & Cody Gregor; 1 brother Everett Lee Key of Jeffrey and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2pm Wednesday, April 8th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Turner Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3pm Tuesday.
