Joe Richey

Joe Richard Richey 68 of Glasgow died Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the Glasgow Health and Rehab Center. He was born in Barren County the son of the late Rev. Joe Richey and Beulah Perkins Richey. Joe was a Tile and Terrazzo installer and a former employee of Venetian Terrazzo. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He is survived by a son Jeff Richey (Lorie) of Glasgow; 4 daughters Sonia Eaton (Mike) of Glasgow; Brooke Richey of Denver, CO, Alyssa Richey of Petersburg, W.VA and Cailah Harris (Thomas) of Hyndman, PA; 6 grandchildren Jay Todd Richey, Gunnar Eaton, Alexis Richey, Sianna Richey, Kamden Richey and Ashton Harris; 2 sisters Ruby Cockerham (Floyd) of Glasgow, and Patty Bauer (Cecil) of Arizona; 4 brothers Raymond Richey (Amy) of Horse Cave, Ruel Kenneth Richey (Carolyn) of Boston, KY, Ralph Richey of Cottonwood, AZ and John Russell Richey of Glasgow. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Richard Daniel Richey, a grandchild Ellison Quinn Eaton and 4 brothers Roy, Robert, Rondal, and Reid Howard Richey. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Thursday, April 22, 2010 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Caney Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 10:00am until time for the service.
