John Baker

John W. Baker 80 of Nobob died Friday November 30, 2007 at the Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville. Born in Cumberland County to the Late Doll & Critie Baker. Mr. Baker was a Farmer and Carpenter. He was married in Monroe County to Ollie Riley Baker on December 23, 1968 and was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include in his wife Ollie Jane Baker of Nobob; 1 grand daughter Donna Bartley of Tompkinsville; 3 great grandchildren Destiny Kay Ford, Dusty Ray Firkin and Kalvin Daniel Bartley all of Tompkinsville; 1 brother Dan Baker of Glasgow; 3 sisters Sylvia, Wyvonia several nieces and nephews and a special friend Barlow Conaster of Glasgow also survive. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 1 step son William Kenneth Firkin. A graveside service will be held 1:00pm Tuesday December 4, 2007 at Union #2 Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00am Tuesday at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
