John Kinslow

John Vernon Kinslow 80 of Glasgow died Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Rosewood Health Care in Bowling Green. He was born in Barren County the son of the late John Moten Kinslow and May Atnip Kinslow. Vernon was a farmer and an avid fox hunter and raised Trigg fox hounds. He also won many awards with his mules and Belgian mares he raised. He was a member and a Deacon at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Joyce Holman Kinslow; a son Johnny Kinslow and wife Janet of Glasgow; a sister Juanita White Thomas and husband Ernest of Glasgow; two God Grandchildren Meagan and William Garrison and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Harrison Connor and a brother Malcolm Kinslow. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Sunday, July 11, 2010 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Caney Fork Cemetery at Etoile. Visitation will begin at 4:00pm Saturday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
