John Perkins

Stanley Perkins 81 of Glasgow, died Monday, July 21, 2008 at the NHC Healthcare Facility. Born in Barren County he was the son of the late Clifton Pritchard and Mallie Wells Perkins. Mr. Perkins was a farmer, WWII Army Veteran, member and deacon of the Mt Tabor Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Betty, 1 son Jimmy Perkins (Marcia) of Glasgow, 1 daughter Diane Houchens (Steve) of Glasgow, 3 grandchildren Chris Perkins (Jessie), Allison Short, Lynsey Short all of Glasgow, 1 great-grandchild Madison Perkins, 2 bothers Roger and Robert (Bob) Perkins both of Glasgow. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers Mitchell and George Perkins, 1 sister Velma Snyder. Funeral services will be held 11AM Thursday, July 24, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3PM Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at the funeral home.
