John William Lowe

John William Lowe 83 of Glasgow died Saturday, November 29, 2014 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Glasgow he was the son of the late Earl Preston Lowe and Mary Tiny Weaver Lowe. Mr. Lowe was a U.S. Army Veteran and was retired from General Electric in Louisville, KY. He was a member of the Westwood Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife Mildred Shaw Lowe; 1 brother Paul Lowe (Mary Frances) of Glasgow; a brother-in-law Robert Smith, Jr. of Greenwood, IN and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers Veachel and Malcolm Earl Lowe and a sister Virginia Helen Smith. Funeral services will be 11am Wednesday, December 3rd at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery with military honors provided by D.A.V. Chapter 20 of Glasgow. Visitation will begin at 3pm Tuesday.
